About Miles Autism Academy.

Supporting individuals with autism, ADHD and other developmental differences through Compassionate & Contemporary and evidence-informed ABA, while empowering families, educators and communities to unlock possibilities together.

Why Miles Was Founded.

“Unlocking Possibilities Together!”

At Miles Autism Academy, we believe every individual deserves the opportunity to learn, communicate, participate and grow with dignity.

Founded in 2022, Miles was created with a vision of providing evidence-informed, compassionate support that extends beyond therapy sessions and into everyday life. Our goal is not only to help individuals develop meaningful skills, but also to empower families, educators and communities to become part of the journey.

Through Compassionate and Contemporary ABA, we aim to create learning experiences that are practical, respectful, meaningful and sustainable in everyday life.

Our Philosophy.

At Miles Autism Academy, we believe an effective intervention should be both evidence-informed and human-centred.

Our Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is delivered through a compassionate and contemporary lens, prioritising trust, dignity, collaboration, motivation and meaningful outcomes.

Every individual learns differently, and that is why our programmes are personalised according to each person’s strengths, needs, developmental stage and family goals.

Our focus is not only on reducing challenges, but on building the skills that improve quality of life: communication, learning, self-regulation, social participation and independence.

Our commitment is not only to help individuals acquire new skills, but also to empower families, educators and communities to become active partners in the journey.

What Makes Miles Different.

1. Compassionate & Contemporary ABA

We focus on meaningful skill-building while respecting each individual’s dignity, preferences and learning needs.

2. Focus on Real-Life Generalisation

We help individuals apply skills beyond therapy sessions across home, school and community settings.

3. School Readiness & School Bridging Pathway

We support children in developing communication, effective learning, social and self-regulation skills, cognitive skills needed for successful transitions. For suitable students, we also offer a direct but structured transition pathway into participating mainstream preschools.

4. Parent Partnership Approach

We work closely with families so progress can continue beyond the therapy room.

5. Home, School & Community Learning

Our programmes are designed around real environments where individuals live, learn and interact.

6. Support from Early Childhood to Adulthood

We support individuals from early childhood through adolescence and adulthood, with goals that evolve over time.
